Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

(LPCC)

Gina completed her Master of Arts in Counseling and Art Therapy at Southwestern College in 2012. The state of New Mexico sets ongoing standards to maintain this licensure.

Nutritional Psychology

Gina currently holds a certificate in Mental Health and Integrative Medicine (CMHIMP). She is currently working towards a Nutritional Psychology Certificate as well to further incorporate the role of nutrition in mental health.

Yoga

Gina has a 200 hour yoga teacher certification and also trainings in trauma informed yoga. She has personally experienced how yoga can be a powerful healing modality in her own growth. If applicable, she may draw on mindfulness/body awareness/breathing tools from this ancient practice.

The Body Positive

Gina has completed trainings with this nonprofit organization that teaches people to listen to their bodies, learn and thrive. “Our ultimate goal is to end the harmful consequences of negative body image: eating disorders, depression, anxiety, cutting, suicide, substance abuse, and relationship violence.”
